Chocolate Chip Cookies are one of my favorites. I can resist when they come right out of the oven and make your entire house smell delicious. They are always on the table at my house when we entertain!

In light of the holiday season, and with my sister being in sunny California this Christmas, I decided to be the good sister that I am and send her a care package. I made (or at least attempted!) to make cookies for her so that she could have them on Christmas since she wouldn't be able to be home with my family. Mel- this is just proof that it actually happened! =)



I used the Toll House Cookie Recipe (minus the nuts)

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

It looks really good, and so simple too! But we don't have NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels in Sweden, what are they like so I know what to substitute with? Crispy? Chewy?

No Toll House Chocolate Chips!? I should send you some!! They are so good!! =)

These cookies are definitely on the crispy side. I could send you a recipe if you like them chewier!
